My Media Summer
During the summer I went on tour with FZY. It was an incredible experience and a chance to make new friends. The major ways we bonded
was fortnite.
During the summer period of my holiday I also watched the World Cup in which England made in to the semi-finals, while France won the World Cup, as well as that I also listened to a variety of music such as country, rap, hip-hop, blues and others, by writers such as Drake, Shawn Mendes, Bryan Adams and the Eagles. Fortnite has become one of the world's top video games over the last twelve months and going, with different cosmetics such as gliders, costumes, pickaxes and emotes, as well as different concept of a battle royale game, with building being used, the game sets itself aside from other battle royale games.
The World Cup as always was going to be universally watched with the top countries playing in the tournament, it was watched constantly and intensified as shockers came about constantly, with Germany being knocked out in the group stages, or the fact England got to the semi-finals for the first time since 1990. It was an astonishing tournament with France outdoing Croatia by a landslide and Tottenham's Harry Kane won the golden boot as well as Tottenham's club captain lifting the trophy for France for keeper Hugo Lloris.
Music was huge over the summer with new music coming, and mumble rappers taking the scene, on tour music was played constantly and changed everyone's mood to happy. New songs that I hadn't heard before became natural to my ears and became some of my favourite songs.
I also used my phone and PlayStation over the summer, with constant news coming from YouTube and the YouTube boxing match between KSI and Logan Paul was a major story that happened in the summer with the result being a draw neither competitors were happy. The social media I used the most was Facebook to watch videos and to check on any major news.
During the summer I also followed political media such as Donald Trump's beliefs and how America is changing, in my opinion I think Trump could be one of the best politicians because of his honesty, even though they might be racist or misogynistic, he seems to be the only politician to be honest with his views, as well as that I have also been following the war that is happening in the middle-east between Israel and Palestine, as it affect the societies everywhere concerning the battle, with marches and stands being done to show perspectives on this war for land.

Not a bad first blog post Myles, however you must make sure you write as much as possible - doing this will massively help you when you revise for the Unit.
