Budget is a creative tool, budget helps to plan what can be used, know the story and know the script.
Budget covers a lot of things in a production. Find out much everything costs, have to do research to help the production and use the budget sufficiently, call necessary people or sets to ask to use their objects or areas for the film.
Flow of money; different departments get different amount of money depending on the cost or the needs of the departments, therefore taking money away from another department.
Post production, don't use all of the budget on pre-production as the budget might be needed later on in editing.
Decide whether something is worth the budget or if it needed or necessary.

Your summary at the beginning covers all key points and shows good understanding.
ReplyDeleteHowever, for the work on the two crowdfunded projects, your answers are too brief. For each questions please answer in a full sentence, with some explanation behind your research. For example, for questions 1-3 on Enemy of Man, consider why the figures may be that way and the challenges they may have gone through to get there. Please answer each question in that style.
